Appeal for witnesses following criminal damage and assault in Oxford

At around 7pm on Saturday (15/1) the victim, a 51-year-old man, was approached in Cornmarket Street by an unknown man and verbally abused before being pushed several times in the chest and his property damaged.

A 48-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assault. He has since been released under investigation. 

Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident or who has information which could help assist the investigation, please get in touch.
