Dear resident, 

We are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Caversham.

At around 7.55am today (27/6), a blue Volkswagen Tiguan was involved in a collision with two pedestrians on Peppard Road, close to the junction with Cedar Wood Crescent.

The two pedestrians, a 72-year-old woman and a 68-year-old woman sadly died at the scene. 

Our thoughts are with their families at this extremely difficult time. 

An arrest has been made.
