Officers are investigating a burglary which resulted in money and family gold being stolen from a house in Reading.

Between 4.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday (3/2) a property in Virginia Way was entered by offenders who forced its back door.

A significant amount of cash and family gold were stolen during the incident. The occupants were not at home at the time.

If you saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area at around the time of the incident or have any information which could assist officers please call our non-emergency number 101 or make a report on our website, quoting the reference 43210047353.
