Appeal for witnesses following attempted robbery in Oxford

At around 10pm on Friday (13/12) the victim, a 25-year-old man, was walking along Howard Street in the direction of Iffley Road when he was approached by three unknown youths who attempted to steal his wallet.

The three offenders threatened the victim with a knife in an attempt to obtain the wallet but were unsuccessful.

Investigating officer PC Oliver Dalby based at St Aldates police station said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim. I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information that could help with this investigation, to get in touch.
