08/12/19- Sunday 01:10 Ash Lane, attempted theft from a vehicle.
08/12/19- Sunday between 2:00pm and 7pm on York Rd, a mountain bicycle was stolen from the roof rack of a car.
08/12/19- Sunday between midnight and 7 am on White Horse road, a burglary took place, entry gained by removing door lock, messy search was conducted.
Between Saturday 8:00 and Sunday 1pm on Ruddlesway a Burglary took place, entry gained by rear patio doors, glass had been smashed and a messy search was conducted.
11/12/19- Tuesday between 8 am and 7pm, Marbeck close, House broken into, entry gained by rear patio door.
Think about sensor lights and window shock alarms as good security measures on the rear of the properties as most burglars preferred means of entry are patio doors.
Van Security advice: consider using Battery operated Fob alarms or padlock alarms, reverse park against a wall, or remove tools from vans if possible.

On 23rd September 2019 the new Windsor & Ascot Neighbourhood Watch Association was formed and inaugurated, with Valerie Pike as Chair and seven Committee members consisting of NHW Coordinators, Thames Valley NHW Multi-Scheme Administrators, local Councillors and longstanding residents.
The aim of the Association is to encourage participation in NHW in the Windsor & Ascot parish areas, with a particular focus on increasing safety for residents, preventing cybercrime and assisting our elderly and vulnerable neighbours.
The areas covered by the Association are: Windsor Inner, Eton & Eton Wick, The Clewers, Dedworth, Oakley Green, Old Windsor, Datchet, Horton, Wraysbury, Ascot, Cheapside, Sunningdale and Sunninghill. The Association has a Facebook page: fb.me/WindsorAscotNHW.
Residents of these areas are encouraged to join the Windsor & Ascot NHW Association by signing up on www.ourwatch.org.uk, using their postcodes to find the most appropriate NHW scheme to apply to become a member of.
