New Protect your Password campaign from NHW

Alert message sent 09/11/2020 10:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear NHW Coordinator
I know you are well aware that cyber-crime is one of the biggest threats to everyone in the country. And you know that we have been promoting best-practice, and encouraging everyone to take one of the courses run by Trading Standards in their 'Friends Against Scams' campaign.

Yet research still indicates that many many people still have not taken the most basic steps to protect themselves!

So NHW is trying again, with the most basic message - 'Protect your Passwords!' Please read the attached Press Release, and then send a message out to all your scheme members, urging them to take the very simple steps explained. You will be doing many of them a big favour!

If you have any questions, or need any help, please just contact me.

Also, if you are whizz-bang up to date, and a user of Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter, I can send on promotional messages designed specially for each of these mediums - again, please just ask!

Good luck and stay safe!
