Tackling Drug-Related Crime Our teams have been carrying out proactive policing activity to tackle suspected drug-related crime in the local area. Drugs have no place in our communities. Through proactive policing, intelligence-led activity, and robust enforcement, officers carried out a targeted operation in the local area which delivered a number of positive outcomes. This operation demonstrates our continued determination to identify those involved in drug-related criminality, disrupt their activities, and take decisive action where offences are identified. The results below highlight the impact of this work and our commitment to keeping local communities safe: Three arrests, six positive Stop Searches out of fourteen. Four people were reported for no insurance, two had their vehicles seized. A section 23 Drugs Warrant was also executed where items were found, and an investigation into the supply of drugs is taking place. Neighbourhood officers attended a report of a suspicious vehicle. They found the rear doors open with 21 boxes of NOS N20 inside. Each box had a 126 individual cannisters inside. The van being untaxed was recovered and £1400 worth of NOS was destroyed. We would like to thank residents for their continued support in reporting concerns and sharing information. Community intelligence plays a vital role in helping officers identify offenders, secure warrants and disrupt those seeking to bring crime and disorder into our neighbourhoods. Every piece of information received helps build a clearer picture and strengthens our efforts to keep Wycombe West a safe place to live, work and visit.
