Witness appeal following robbery in Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Magdalen Wood, Wood Farm, Oxford, (near to Broad Oak Road) on Monday (30/9) between 1:30pm and 2pm.

The victim, a 45 year old woman, was walking along Magdalen Wood when she was approached by two men who asked if she had a lighter, she said she did not have one and kept walking. 
One of the offenders stepped into the victims’ path holding a knife while another offender stood to her side. The woman was told to hand over her cash along with her mobile phone and jewellery, which she did.

The first offender who was holding the knife is described as a white man with an English accent, he was around 20 years old, about 5ft 7ins tall and slim build. He was wearing a black track suit.
The second offender is described as a white man with an English accent, he is of a slim build and has short black hair. He was wearing a dark coloured raincoat and blue jeans.

Investigating officer, PC 7685 Rosec would like to speak to anyone who has either witnessed this offence, or thinks they may have seen these two men in the area around the time of the incident.
