Appeal for specific witnesses after woman is raped in Amersham

Thames Valley Police is appealing for two specific witnesses to come forward in a rape investigation in Amersham.

Between 10am and 10.40am on Sunday (8/9) the victim, a woman in her 30s, was attacked at an address in Hill Avenue.

The victim sustained an injury to her nose during the incident.

After the incident, the victim fled the address and two female members of the public assisted her.

Specialist Investigator Kay Humphreys, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “The victim was at an address in Hill Avenue and after the incident she left the property and spoke to two members of the public, along with a local business owner.

“I am appealing to identify these two people who saw the victim in a distressed state in Hill Avenue between 10.15am and 10.30am.

“I am also appealing to anybody else who may have any information regarding this incident to contact police.
