Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Theft from a property on Kings Cross Road Oxford
A property on Kings Cross Road, Summertown was broken into between 5pm on Friday (19/7) and 7am Monday (22/7).
The property is currently undergoing construction work. The offenders gained entry to the property through a ground floor window by removing the boards.
Once inside the offenders used an angle grinder to open a tool box. A large quantity of tools were stolen.

If you have any information about this incident please report it here or call 101, quoting reference 43190224314.

Thames Valley Police recommends marking your tools via the following methods:
*Using Smart Water to DNA mark your tools
*Using a can of bright neon colored spray paint and spray a stripe or circle onto the tool
*Engrave personal information directly on to the tool - engraving reduces the resale value of the tool and increases the risk of arrest to the thief
*Remove batteries and chargers when not using your tools
