Personal Safety Advice
Here’s a reminder of the steps you can take to keep yourself safe:

  • Plan your route in advance and keep to busy, well-lit streets or paths which are more likely to be covered by CCTV.
  • Try to travel with people you know. Alternatively stick to routes and forms of transport that others are using.
  • Hide your valuables from view including mobile phones, music devices and jewellery.
  • Let someone know what time you are expecting to get home.
