Arrests made following business burglary in Poyle

Alert message sent 10/05/2019 15:53:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

On Tuesday 30 April, local police officers and specialist police teams exercised their powers under section 61 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, to remove an unauthorised encampment in David Road, Poyle.

This is following safeguarding actions and liaison with the encampment, landowners and Slough Borough Council.

Three men, aged 30, 31 and 35, from Leicestershire have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and have been released under investigation.

A vehicle, caravan and two dogs were also seized as part of the investigation. One dog has been identified as stolen from outside the Thames Valley area and has been returned to her owners.

We are aware of the impact that this offence has had on business owners in the area and we would advise anyone with concerns to contact one of our officers.
You can speak to an officer as they are patrolling, request contact using our online form, call 101 or visit the front counter at Slough police station.
