SOME REALLY GOOD NEWS:

The Problem Solving Team, Neighbourhood teams and Area CID have had some really good results, when it comes to tackling County Drugs Lines, over the past few months.

They had another one last Thursday... acting on intelligence provided to a PCSO by a concerned member of the public, the Problem Solving Team Inspector and a PC stopped a vehicle. Two individuals were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin, cocaine and for possessing a knife.

After a 21 hour shift, drugs testing, interviews, house searches, phone downloads and a lot of coffee - the Problem Solving Team charged and remanded one of the individuals to court for all 3 offences. He plead guilty at court the next day, and is now at her majesties pleasure awaiting sentencing.

The investigation is ongoing in relation to the other male who was released under investigation.

We rely heavily on your calls, web reports and emails about what you’ve seen and heard. Please do keep them coming - together we will make our Neighbourhood safer more enjoyable places to live.

Thank you

PS Ryan Powell
