Alert message sent 09/03/2017 10:37:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Here is the latest update from PCSO Jamie Moya-Flood & PC Carl Bryant.

School Parking
We have received numerous complaints about school parking at Appleton and Cumnor primary schools. Please can parents/guardians picking up/dropping off their children at school not park on the zig-zags, junctions or on bends. There is a pub car park close to both schools who have given their permission for parents to use their parking facilities so please do so. We will be conducting patrols at school pick up/drop off times and any offending vehicles will be dealt with and possibly be issues with a fixed penalty notice. Please do not the children’s safety and park considerately and safely.

Offenders brought to justice
•    We received two reports from the public that a man was urinating in a public place in Botley. The man was identified and given a fixed penalty notice.
•    Officers were called out following reports of a male acting suspiciously outside Field House. The male was found and checked. On this occasion it was a false alarm and the man had not committed any offences. However, please continue to be vigilant and call us if you have any concerns over suspicious behaviour.
