Vulnerable People in our community

Alert message sent 21/12/2016 19:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Marlow's PCSO's are proud to have arranged for accommodation for a homeless man staying in the Bourne End and Cookham area.

With the invaluable help of partners in Maidenhead. somewhere to stay has been arranged for at least the festive period and other support will be provided during his stay.

PCSO's across the whole Wycombe Policing area are also in the process of handing out hampers. These have been provided by a number local charities, and in turn supported by local businesses, and are primarily for elderly or vulnerable victims of crime.

During the course of these home visits, officers have identified the need for further support on several occasions and referrals have been made to partners who can provide this support.

The police are just one of several organisations who work together to identify vulnerable people within our community. If you or someone you know could benefit from extra support, consider calling Bucks County Council Prevention Matters on 0300 666 0159
