Consultation Open to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour in Bicester

Alert message sent 21/03/2022 10:17:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Do you regularly visit Bicester town centre?

If so, we would like you to have your say on new powers to tackle antisocial behaviour.

With increased reports of intimidating and distressing behaviour, Cherwell District Council and Thames Valley Police are seeking views on whether a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) should be adopted.

The plan has been drawn up in partnership with Cherwell District Council, and would grant powers to tackle behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress, on-street drinking of alcohol and begging.

You can visit the Cherwell District Council website for further information on the public consultation for the PSPO.
