Appeal for witnesses following criminal damage in Reading

At around 2.40pm on Sunday 8 November, a Thames Valley Police marked speed enforcement vehicle was parked on the A4 London Road near to the junction of Denmark Road.

An operator was sat in the back of the van with the rear window open when a man threw a brick through the window.

This caused damage to the camera and fortunately did not injure the operator.
The man, described as wearing a grey hooded jumper, then ran off down London Road in the direction of Alexandra Road.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any dash-cam footage from the area on Sunday afternoon, to get in touch.
