On Saturday several officers from below departments took part in a pro- active police operation.

The Pro-active Op working with Motor Insurance Bureau, was to target those using the road network around Maidenhead, especially whilst driving with No Insurance.

During this very successful Op

6 people were arrested.

These arrests were for various offences including on suspicion of drug driving, immigration offences, failing to appear at court etc. 

8 vehicles were seized, including an adapted E-Bike.

12 tickets were issued, mostly for driving offences.

1 person was given a Section 59 warning for ASB use of a vehicle (stays with the driver & vehicle for a period of 12 months & can lead to vehicle seizure, if seen driving in an similar manner during this time) 

The Operation utilised a mix of marked and unmarked police cars,  ANPR cameras and van at key roads going into Maidenhead. 

More Operations are planned to take place.
