Appeal for witnesses following assault in Bracknell

At around 11.40pm on Monday (29/6) the victim, a 33-year-old man, was walking from Earlswood to Ringmead through the underpass onto Haversham Drive. When walking through the underpass the victim was approached from behind and assaulted by a punch to the face.

The victim received swelling to his eye, but did not require hospital treatment.

There is currently no description of the offender.

Investigating officer PC Wasim Akram based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “The victim was wearing headphones at the time of the assault and therefore did not hear the offender approach him.

“I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident or was in the area at the time and saw something suspicious to come forward.
