Appeal for witnesses following an incident of grievous bodily harm – Aylesbury |
||
|
We are appealing for witnesses following an incident of grievous bodily harm in Aylesbury. Between 11pm yesterday and 1am today, two men presented to hospital with grievous bodily harm level injuries. Following enquiries, it suggested that the injuries were from an incident that we believe involved a bladed weapon that occurred in the area of the Waterside North Car Park, Exchange Street. The first victim, a man in his forties, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, is currently in hospital receiving treatment. The second victim, a man in his twenties, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and has since been discharged. No arrests have been made at this current time. We understand this incident will be concerning for people, but we believe this to be an isolated incident with no threat to the wider public. You will see an increased police presence in the area and extra patrols. Please speak to a uniformed officer if you have any concerns. Anyone with any information, CCTV, dashcam footage is urged to call 101 or report via our website quoting reference 43260297233.
