CCTV images released following assault - Pegasus Road

Thames Valley Police is releasing CCTV images of a man who may have important information about an assault in Oxford.

At 9.50pm on Sunday (14/6), the victim, a man in his thirties, was assaulted with a bottle outside the Premier Store on Pegasus Road in Blackbird Leys.

The victim received a head injury which required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

Investigating officer PC Donal McGuckin, based at Oxford police station, said: “I am releasing these CCTV images as I believe that this man may have important information that could help with my investigation. If you recognise this man, or think it might be you, please get in touch.

“I am appealing particularly to the two occupants of a silver Volkswagen Golf that left their vehicle and entered the store at the exact time of the assault. I believe that they could be potential witnesses, so if you think this could be you, please get in touch.
