VEHICLE CRIME CARTERTON NEIGHBOURHOOD

Between the Friday 07/02/2020 and Tuesday 11/02/2020 there has been an increase in vehicle crime in the villages surrounding Carterton, Thefts have occurred overnight in Bampton, Clanfield, Lechlade and Alvescot.
On four occasions number plates have been stolen and on the fifth wheel trims.
The stolen number plates are likely to be used in crime to disguise another vehicle.
To protect your vehicle you can put anti theft screws on your number plates and park vehicles in well illuminated locations , speak to a member of your Neighbourhood Team for further help and advice.
If you see any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously please contact Thames Valley Police on 101.
