New NHW Scheme

Alert message sent 30/10/2019 09:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Mandy Deliver, No 5, has kindly stepped forward and volunteered to be a NHW coordinator for Stirling Close. We are in the process of delivering new NHW street signs and window stickers. An introductory letter will also be produced and delivered to all resident sin Stirling Close.

You appear on our NHW database living within Stirling Close, and as such, I have moved you into awaiting approval from Mandy to be scheme members. You should receive an acknowledgement in due course.

NHW has a very important role in improving the quality of life for its members, not just in the prevention of crime, but support as a whole. Whereas burglaries were the main issue of the day, unfortunately scams and fraud has now taken over the mantle. Doorstep crime, new driveways, house repair ect, has a larger financial impact on individuals than burglaries. It is the vulnerable in our society that suffer most, the elderly or lonely.

As collective as a group we can make a difference.

I do hope that you can support Mandy in this new venture, and make your little community a better and more secure place to live.

Kind regards
Colin Meads
