Appeal for witnesses following burglaries where vehicles were targeted

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following three burglaries where vehicles outside properties have been targeted. Please think about your house and vehicle security.
  • Have CCTV installed and make sure you have trackers fitted to your vehicles which are turned on.
  • Park in garages where possible.
  • Use car and house alarms and other security devices like wheel and steering wheels. Keep car keys away from windows, doors and letterboxes.
  • If you have keyless cars please put your keys in a special signal blocking pouch or container.

On Friday 4th October at approximately 2am there was an attempted burglary to a property in Wheatley Road, Garsington. The unknown offenders were disturbed before gaining access. It is believed they were targeting a Mercedes on the drive way. Ref: 43190306956.

Between Thursday 3rd -Friday 4th October a property was broken into on Ambrose Rise, Wheatley. Entry was gained via rear sliding doors by unscrewing it. The keys were taken and a black Audi Q5 were stolen. Ref: 43190307036.

Between 10pm on Friday 11th – 7am on Saturday 12th October a property in Lower End, Great Milton was broken into. An Audi A3 and a Range Rover Evoke were stolen after unknown offender gained access to the property via the rear door by breaking the handle. Ref: 43190316728.
