Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Bosley of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: “Following an incident last night, a man and a woman were found dead at Forester Tower in suspicious circumstances.

“Although we are in the early stages of this investigation, we believe that the two people who have died are known to each other.

“I appreciate the concern that this will cause in the local community, but I would like to re-assure the public that we believe there is no wider threat and that we are not looking for anybody else in connection with this incident.
