Appeal for information following Burglaries - Woodstock

Alert message sent 09/06/2017 16:27:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police are appealing for information after recent burglaries in Woodstock.
Between 09:00am and 00:00pm (08/06) yesterday offenders(s) have entered two properties, one in Marlborough Crescent where a quantity of cash was stolen and the other in Oxford Road where keys were taken from inside the premise and a vehicle stolen from the driveway.
Two suspicious males with Irish accents driving a white Ford Transit were in the area during the day cold calling looking for building/roofing work. It is not confirmed if they were connected to this crime or not.
Detective Sergeant White is the officer investigating these crimes. He would like to hear from anyone that might have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area between these times.
If you have any information please contact Detective Sergeant White on the 24 hour Police Enquiry Centre number 101.

If you don’t want to speak to the police or give your details you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or report it online. No personal details will be taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not have to go to court
