Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Neighbourhood update for January - Britwell / Haymill
Here is the latest neighbourhood update from the Britwell Neighbourhood group
Crime Information
The following link will enable you to analyse and view the crime rates within your area, just type in your postcode and all of the information will be displayed http://www.police.uk/ (opens new window)
The Britwell & Haymill team hope that you all had an enjoyable and relaxing festive period and wish you a successful 2017. We would like to remind residents to not leave the boxes for new items outside their homes as opportunist burglars can use these to identify what might be in your home. Our advice would be to take the boxes to your local recycling centre rather than leaving them out for the refuse collectors.
Reports of burglaries are down however we do need your help to keep it that way.
As always, the team are monitoring anti-social behaviour (asb) in the area which can sometimes increase during school holiday periods. If you have concerns about asb in your area, please contact the team on the email address below or speak to our partners at Slough Borough Council.

Neighbourhood Watch
•To help prevent crime by improving security, increasing vigilance, creating and maintaining a caring community and reducing opportunities for crime by increasing crime prevention awareness.
•Neighbourhood Watch is a community initiative, which is supported by the police, not run by them, so success depends on what the members put in to it. The Police can't deal with the problems and issues arising from crime and anti-social behaviour alone; they need the help of the whole community. Neighbourhood Watch provides a way for local people to play an important part in addressing this balance and making their communities safer.
