Burglary in Edith Weston, Oakham

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a house in the Rectory Lane area of Edith Weston, Oakham.

The incident took place between 12.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday, March 6. The house was entered by forcing a ground floor rear window. A quantity of distinctive antique jewellery and antique silver spoons were stolen.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 4385 Natasha Hassell on 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 4385. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free** and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
