A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY – WEDNESDAY 11TH MAY 7.00 P.M. – MAIDENHEAD GOLF CLUB.

After two years of pandemic isolation, the Maidenhead NHW Association is re-emerging and getting back to work.  They will be holding a very brief AGM to appoint Officers, followed by a ‘Crime Prevention Roadshow’.

The Agenda will be:
Me – Welcome – Summer Burglary Campaign, current Scams & Frauds, Update re Community SpeedWatch
A local Neighbourhood PCSO – Their role and how they support the Community – FREE Home Security Survey
An RBWM Community Warden – Their role and how they can support the Community
Roger Aisladie – What does the Community Safety Team Volunteers do – would you like to join them ?
John Diack – the Chair of the Maidenhead NHW Association – why you should join a NHW Scheme, or start your own.  He will be looking for potential Area Co-ordinators.  At least one, from each community / ward in Maidenhead.  He believes NHW is a grass roots organisation.  There is no hierarchy, but there are just levels of support.  Everyone involved is a volunteer, giving as much of their valuable time as they can.  All schemes – belong to their members.  John hopes to provide them with whatever support / encouragement they need, to make them as effective as possible.

The venue has a capacity of 50 attendees.  All are welcome, but it will be on a first come first served basis.  Please email John Diack, to get one of the places - johndiack@hotmail.com
