04/03/2022 and 08/03/2022.  Farm, Wantage.  A vehicle has been driven across fields presumably hare coursing or joy riding. Damage has been done to growing crops. An index plate has been recovered from the field and it is believed to have come from the offending vehicle. The license plate was stolen from a business earlier in the year.

09/03/2022 at 23:00 and 10/03/2022 at 09:00.  Farm, Churn Estate, Didcot.  A vehicle has driven over crops causing approximately £200 worth of damage. No CCTV and no witnesses

06/03/2022.  Farm Barns, Leighton Buzzard.  3rd party report of hare coursing with a light blue MPV with 2 lurchers.  The car is on fake plates

10/03/2022.  In a field opposite Yarnton Road Cassington.  Caller saw one individual walking with his dog, looking back towards the field, where there were other people-. Caller saying the person seen by caller normally comes in a group of three description of individual seen- mid to late teens-16ish, 5ft 9 inches, blondie mousy curtain hair- casual clothes- dark jeans & dark coloured top. Dog is a saluki type of dog- fair whitey blond colour coat- dog looks in bad condition. Dog was on a lead. Caller did not see any vehicles

12/03/2022.  Farm, Castlethorpe Road, Hanslope.  5 males in a small silver car and a dog have driven onto one of the fields on the farm. Police attended an area search found a dead hare located on the bridge. Tyre tracks indicated that they had driven over and flattened an old fence. Vehicle has been seen on someone else’s CCTV and they have claimed the vehicle 9s a Silver Suzuki Ignis.  The registered owner lives in Norfolk but mainly seen around Milton Keynes area.

12/03/2022.  Jacobs Hill Green, Newbury.  Caller has seen 8 dogs and 6 men, who were hunting hares and rabbits. Vehicle thought to be involved is Green Daihatsu Terio Kir

16/03/2022.  Farm, Foundry Lane, Loosley Row.  Caller has come to field, to find gates damaged where a vehicle has entered the field and caused damage to the cornfields, which is believed to be linked to hare coursing. Caller has seen a black transit van with partial index of K40.

17/03/2022 18:00hrs and 18/03/2022 06:00.  Farmhouse, Main Road, Lacey Green.  Someone has cut the padlock on the gates to a field and driven around the field damaging the crops and hedges. Suspected of hare coursing or poaching deer.

17/03/2022.  Farm, Cherry Lane, Woodrow.  Padlocks have been smashed and suspect(s) have gained access to callers land and has damaged the fields, potentially hare coursing.

19/03/2022.  Farm, Ledburn, Mentmore.  2 men and a dog were seen in a field at the rear of the farm.  A blue Vauxhall Astra was parked outside the field where the men have entered field on foot.

19/03/2022.  Filkin Road, Langford.  2x reports of a fox hunt being set up/in progress. 20-30 dogs have been seen with approximately 5 people on horses. However, both callers did not see a fox.

WILD LIFE CRIME

16/03/2022.  Mansion Lane, Iver.  3 swans have been shot multiple times in the head and neck, could have been done with a .22 air rifle.

13/03/2022.  Sarsden Road, Churchill.  Several badger setts have been found blocked.

BURGLARIES OF RURAL PROPERTIES

03/03/2022.  between 15:28hrs and 15:38hrs.  Farm, Fingest Road, Fingest.  2x men wearing masks and gloves, broke into the farmhouse using a crowbar. They do not appear to have stolen anything and ran out of property after being “spooked” by something. Possibly arrived in a white transit van with no index available.

16/03/2022 - 21/03/2022.  Farm, Thatcham.  A padlock was forced off and score marks on a wooden door of the garage and a white Scott mountain bike and a Husqvarna chainsaw have been stolen.

16/03/2022.  Farm, Poplars Farm Road, Wantage.  Someone has broken into the medicine cabin inside an outside shed. Metcam (Painkillers) and antibiotics appear to have been stolen totalling around £50- £100.

20/03/2022.  Farm, Oxford Road, Oakley.  Suspect(s) have cut the bolt on a gate to get into a field. They have then broken into 5 stables/barns. They have ripped the wood panels off the doors of some of them. They have placed a generator on a trolley that they have not managed to steal, as they appear to have been disturbed. They have also left behind numerous tools such as screwdrivers.  2 men returned at 21:10 in a car, but then ran away.

20/03/2022.  between 03:00 and 05:00hrs.  Reading Road, Henley-on-Thames.  Suspect (s) have entered a field and forced opened gates that were padlocked. They have stolen a trailer that had a wheel clamp on it, broke into a shed and stole a ride on mower and 3 mountain bikes.

11/03/2022.  4 p.m. - 12/03/2022 9:20 a.m.  Farm, Marsh End, Thames.  A yard was broken into and a unique van that has a special crane on it has been stolen and another damaged. Aggrieved has CCTV showing 2 suspects using a petrol angle grinder to cut padlocks to the yard. This is the second time since 2019 they have been hit.

07/03/2022 and 09/03/2022.  House, Barn Street, Mixbury.  a gate was stolen from a field.

7/03/2022.  House, Staines Road, Staines.  2 lead ornamental art statues were stolen from the front garden of the house. The statues were in the ground and lifted out.

19/02/2022 and 21/02/2022.  Churchill Road, Chipping Norton.  Offenders have broken in and stolen a hydraulic Auger drill worth £2500.

11/03/2022.  Barn, Farm, Radclive Road, Gawcott.  A white Transit van entered the premises and stole 15 Ansul Kitchen suppression systems form site. 2x White males in the vehicle were seen leaving the premises in van.

THEFT OF HEATING OIL:

11/03/2022 and 14/03/2022.  Stratford Road, Whaddon.  Callers oil tank has been tampered with and oil stolen.  The cap for the oil was undone and was hanging on by the chain and the dial has gone down by about half a tank.

03/03/2022.  Clifton Road, Bedford.  Suspects climbed over garden wall by stepping on blue glass bin and stole £700 worth of oil.

24/02/2022.  Farm, Beech Hill Road, Mortimer, Reading.  The aggrieved had a delivery of oil and one week later on the 03/03/2022, the tank was empty. There is no leak so the only other explanation, is that it has been stolen.

THEFT OF FARM EQUIPMENT:

20/03/2022 16:30 and 21/03/2022 08:00.  Farm, Chipping Norton.  A Green John Deere Tractor VRM: N784LWL has been stolen from the farmyard.

14/03/2022 - 15/03/2022.  Cordwallis Trading Estate, Maidenhead.  A commercial truck garage yard entered and 2x axle plant tipping trailers with cages stolen. Suspects have tried to cut through the padlock to the gate; they have then jumped over the gate and cut the lock from inside.  Once they have opened the gate, they have gone straight to the trailer. They have then hooked the trailer up to a vehicle and left, CCTV shows a Mercedes entering the yard with a male pedestrian at 16:00hrs the same day.

METAL THEFT:

08/03/2022.  Ardley Landfill, Station Road, Ardley.  3 men have accessed the yard and filled a wheelie bin with scrap metal and left it at the hedge line, where they hoped to collect it later. A member of the waste team saw it and moved it away.

18/03/2022 00:00hrs and 18/03/2022 09:00.  Wycombe Road, Princes Risborough.  BT manholes were found flipped open and in some cases their frames ripped out of the tarmac along a 2 mile stretch of the A4010 south of Princes Risborough. There are clear drag marks and revenants of cable on the pavement to indicate it has been stolen.

09/03/2022.  Dairy Lane, Henley.  Caller found Estate fencing (barbed wire) that has been put up to stop trespassers, has been cut, rolled up and generally vandalised.  Signs used to tell people that the area is private, have been defaced.

06/03/2022.  Farm, Lincombe Lane, Oxford.  The aggrieved has returned to their farm and found several items damaged - demijohns and some solar panels.  Cockerels had been chased out their pen and a pen of geese were targeted, which resulted in the female getting off of her nest.

04/03/2022 and 05/03/2022.  Farm, Church Lane, Shinfield.  Unknown offenders have accessed the farm, by pulling down wire fencing. It looks as if the suspects have climbed over the barbed wire fence by using a section panel they found. There are 2/3 footprints. They have not been able to get access to horsebox, so have smashed the roof.

14/03/2022 and 17/03/2022.  Farm, Creighton Road, Aylesbury.  There have been dog attacks on grazing sheep in various fields. Attacks presumably occurred overnight. 7 sheep killed in more than one field.  No suspicious activity / noise noticed or reported by nearby residents. Very similar to attacks reported to Thames Valley Police in the autumn of last year 2021. No incidents since then, until this week.

19/03/2022, 12-15.  East Lockinge, Wantage.  Youths in balaclavas have entered farm property by jumping over the fences, which were damaged. When challenged, they became threatening and then ran off over the fields towards Ardington
