NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH MEETING RECORDING

Alert message sent 01/03/2021 19:20:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

As we were limited to 100 participants on Zoom, I could only invite Co-ordinators to attend my virtual Neighbourhood Watch meeting on 15 February.   I am now able to forward the link to the recording so that all Co-ordinators, Deputies and Residents on the database can watch the meeting and this can be forwarded to members of your scheme.

This is the link to the recording:

At the start of the recording a few minutes were spent setting up the meeting so the actual start time is around 7 minutes.

I have also obtained from Superintendent Zahid Aziz, Area Commander for West Berkshire his PowerPoint presentation which is attached to this Alert.   Zahid has asked me to pass on this message: “Violence reduction, knife crime, County Drugs Lines and safeguarding vulnerable people are some of our key priorities, alongside supporting our rural communities to tackle rural crime.    I am extremely grateful for the support your Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators and members give to keeping our communities safe.”

If you would like to set up a No Cold Calling Zone in your road or a wider area, please contact Clive Robinson at Trading Standards and he will make contact with you.   His email address is:  clive.robinson1@westberks.gov.uk

Best wishes
