Criminal Damage to vehicles

Alert message sent 02/12/2020 14:55:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police have received increased reports of criminal damage to vehicles across the Bracknell area. We would like to encourage residents to ensure that bricks and other items that could be accessed around your property are removed from sight to reduce the chances of your vehicle or others being targeted.
The Bracknell Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be increasing high visibility patrols and this weekend you will see an increased police presence to target those committing antisocial behaviour and criminal damage in all areas affected.
If you have been a victim or witness of recent criminal damage to a vehicle, please report it online at, or by calling the police non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on free phone 0800 555 111.

Neighbours looking out for each other, and been prepared to report suspicious activity also helps deter offenders and reduce crime. If you want to find out if there is already a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in your area, or you’d like to find out more, check out their site

Feel free to share this information and advice with friends and neighbours, or on social media
Thank you.
