Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

This message has been issued by Thames Valley Police.

Check your Zoom security ⚠️
As many people move to new methods of staying in touch whilst at home, criminals are taking advantage of our lack of knowledge of these systems.
Before your next Zoom meeting, check these three steps:
🔐 Meeting ID and Password – make sure these are set as default to stop uninvited guests joining your meeting or party who may share unwanted or offensive material.
📹 Session Recording – ensure the recording disclaimer is turned on so that if anyone wants to record the session live, all participants know about it.
👤 Check your profile – meeting participants can view your profile so double check you haven’t included any sensitive information.
Follow these three steps and you can stay in touch and stay safe 👍
