Appeal for witnesses following an assault in Alfred Rose Park

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Alfred Rose Park on Saturday (7/3).

At around 4pm on Saturday, two teenage boys walked into Alfred Rose Park from Dunsham Lane. As they began to walk up the hill they saw around 6 teenage boys gathered around a bench.

The victim was approached by two of the 6 boys who spoke to him and then began punching him in the face.

The victim fell to the floor and the boys continued to kick and punch him and stole cash from the backpack that he was wearing.

The victim sustained mild concussion and reddening and swelling to his face and hands. He did not require hospital treatment.

The offenders are described as being approximately 16-18-years-old, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft. They were wearing hooded tops and puffer-style jackets.
