Alert message sent 03/03/2020 16:27:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is continuing to search for a woman missing from Milton Keynes.
Mary Frankham, aged 68, was last seen on Valentine’s Day (14/2) at around 6.40am in Stony Stratford.
Her vehicle was found in Calverton Road and it is believed she went in to the water near the Calverton Road car park just before 7am on the 14 February.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Laura Herrington based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “Mary has been missing for more than two weeks now and we are carrying out searches to find her.
“Since Mary was last seen, search and rescue teams along with local officers have carried out a number of searches of the water and the river banks between Calverton Road and the Stony Stratford Bridge.
“Unfortunately the search has been hampered due to the heavy rain and very high water levels which is making the area dangerous.
“Searches are continuing when it is safe to do so by people specially trained with safety equipment and there will be an increased police presence in the area when the searches are ongoing.”
