Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Newport Pagnell.

At around 10.20pm on Friday 14 February, the two victims were walking in the direction of the high street after leaving The Bull Inn public house on Tickford Street when they were approached by three men and possibly a woman.

The men began arguing with one of the victims before pushing him into the road. The second victim was also pushed into the road, causing her to hit her face on the ground. Both victims sustained head injuries and the female victim lost several teeth and required hospital treatment, but has since been discharged.

The first offender is described as a white man, approximately in his late teens to mid-twenties, and was wearing a grey jacket and grey bottoms. Another of the offenders was also white and around the same age and was wearing a black jacket.

Investigating officer PC Hayley Byrne, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, which was a frightening experience for the victims.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around this time, and who thinks they may have information, to come forward and speak to the police.

“I am also appealing to anyone who was driving in the area to check their dash-cam footage and to get in touch if they think this footage would aid our investigation.

“You can contact us using our online reporting form or by calling the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43200052862.

“Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
