WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS:
 
NEXT VOLUNTEER INDUCTION:
9.30 a.m. / 1.30 p.m.  Tuesday 25th and Friday 28th February 2020

 
Would you like to join our diverse team of volunteers to provide caring, non-judgemental, practical and emotional short-term weekly support to local families facing challenges.
 
By volunteering you can:
 
  • Give something back to your community
  • Meet new people
  • Gain new skills and experience
  • Make a difference to children’s and families
  • Feel valued and part of a team.
 
We provide our volunteers with a detailed induction, plus ongoing support and training.  If you have 2 - 3 hours to give each week (ideally daytime hours Monday - Friday) and are interested in joining our team, please get in touch.
 
Please note:  You would need to attend both dates.
 
You are required to complete an application form before attending an induction day.  If you cannot make the above dates, we will be holding further induction dates in 2020.
 
We also need help with fundraising and awareness events, so if you would like to get involved with raising much needed funds for our charity, please contact us.

15/2  Saturday 12 noon / 4.20 p.m.  Amusement Area, Barry Avenue.  Car passenger window smashed - bag and contents stolen.
 
ETON & ETON WICK:
16/2 - 17/2  Sunday 10 a.m. / Monday 7.30 a.m.  South Meadow Lane.  Car driver’s window smashed - suitcase stolen from the rear passenger seat.

CLEWER, DEDWORTH & OAKLEY GREEN:
15/2  Saturday 12.30 p.m.  Oak Lane.  Items have been thrown at front door.  On Saturday a stone was thrown.
 
CLEWER EAST & PARK:
16/2  Sunday 0.55  a.m.  St. Leonard’s Road.  Attempted business burglary.  CCTV shows two men, trying to force the front door of the building, by forcing it off its hinges.  The door was too strong, so no entry gained.  Descriptions both white,  aged between 25 - 30dar short hair up the sides, about 5’10’’, jeans and both wearing bomber jackets.
16/2  Sunday midnight / 9 a.m.  St. Leonard’s Road.  Burglary.  The offender, climbed onto a flat roof, using wheelie bins to gain entry to a first floor balcony.  Entry through first floor balcony door to kitchen left unlocked.  Handbag emptied out and contents searched.  Cash, over the counter medication, and cigarettes stolen.

DATCHET, HORTON & WRAYSBURY:

16/2  Sunday  midnight / 4.05 a.m.  Lawn Close.  Brick thrown at front door.
16/2  Sunday 8.40 p.m.  Shop, Windsor Road, Wraysbury.  Two men entered the shop, brandishing a screwdriver, jumped over the counter and emptied the till.  The whole thing was captured on CCTV and lasted 51 seconds !.  Descriptions - Offender 1  White, 5’11’’, thin build, dark clothing, black jogging bottoms, with white stripes down the side, white polo shirt, coloured face mask and thick gloves.  Offender 2.  White, 5’8’’ short, fat, wearing a green / grey hoody, light grey tracksuit with dark jogging bottoms.
15/2 - 16/2  Saturday noon / Sunday 3.10 p.m.  CAR ENTERED BY UNKNOWN MEANS - golf clubs stolen from the boot.
 
OLD WINDSOR:
NO CRIME TO REPORT.
