Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Dear Citizen

At around 1.20pm on Friday (27/9) two men entered a shop on Reynolds Way and threatened the store assistant. One man climbed over the counter and stole two tills.

Both offenders are described as men of average build. They were both wearing dark coloured clothing with their faces covered and hoods up. They were also wearing gloves.

It is believed they left the scene in a white car derived van with the partial registration plate DE12 ***.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Nicola Clark based at Abingdon police station said: "We are appealing for witnesses following this incident.

"We would ask anyone who saw these men approaching the shop or who has dash-cam footage from around the time of the incident to come forward.

"Anyone with information should report online or call 101 quoting reference 43190299476."

Alternatively, you can report 100% anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
