Alert message sent 25/09/2019 15:45:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Easthampstead, Bracknell.

Between around 8.00am and 4.15pm on Tuesday 24 September offenders gained entry to a house in Pondmoor Road. Access appears to have been gained into an enclosed rear garden by climbing over a wall, from where the offenders then made an attempt to force a rear door with a bladed tool before going on to smash their way in through a window.

Once inside the offenders the offenders made an untidy search before locating and stealing a quantity of jewellery.

Investigating officer T7437 James Preston said “ We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information including any CCTV  to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43190296013.

If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact “Crimestoppers” anonymously and free of charge on 0800 555 111. It is an independent charity, no personal details will be asked for, calls are not recorded or traced and you would not have to go to court.
