Please have some consideration when parking near to schools

Alert message sent 13/09/2019 22:12:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

The residents of Kidlington have told the local neighbourhood team and the Kidlington and District Community Forum that parking in and around the 4 primary schools in Kidlington is dangerous. This has been adopted by the forum as a neighbourhood priority and members of the forum have been out in force recently to identify and evidence poor parking. Somewhat shockingly in the morning of 12th September 2019 there were 12 cars either parked on double yellow lines, time restricted clearways or zebra crossings all during the school drop off times and near to the primary schools.
When dropping your children off at school please have some consideration for other parents, pedestrians and road users. Officers from the neighbourhood team will be conducing extras patrols and will enforcing all parking violations that they come across.
