Appeal for witnesses following robbery in Reading

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Oxford Road, Reading,
On Tuesday (2/7) the victims, two 17-year-old boys, were at the bus stop outside McDonalds when they were approached by two men.

The men threatened to stab the boys if they did not hand over their phones.
One of the victims gave them his phone and then a Reading bus arrived which caused the offenders to run from the scene.

A weapon was not seen at any point during this exchange.

The phone that was taken was a black iPhone XR 32GB. It was in a black case which had a clear back panel with a bus ticket inside. The serial number of the phone ends in MKXK1 and the IMEI number ends 60923.
