Missing Person

We have had a previous success in finding a missing woman recently reported in Oxford Mail as  message sent round with picture. I feel that this is such an important part of looking after our community that I will send these out when they appear in local paper in the hope this can be replicated. If someone is missing from one part of Oxford they are often found or seen in  other areas in Oxford. Please report to police if you ever see a missing person.

POLICE are trying to find a man from Oxford who has been missing for eight days.

Adam Stanmore, who is 37, was last seen on Saturday, May 18 at 10.49pm in Horspath Road in Oxford and was reported missing to Thames Valley Policeon Wednesday, May 22.

Mr Stanmore is mixed race, around 6ft 2ins tall with a slim build and short dark curly hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded tracksuit top and bottoms.

Police are appealing for the public's help to find him.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Senior, of Force CID based at Oxford police station, said: “Adam has now been missing for eight days, and naturally we are concerned for his welfare.

“I would like to stress to Adam if he sees this appeal, you are not in any trouble whatsoever, but we want to ensure that you are safe and well.

“If anybody knows of Adam’s whereabouts, please call the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190153775.

“I am also making a direct appeal to Adam, please contact either police or your family or friends to let us know that you are safe.”
