Appeal for witnesses following assault occasioning ABH in Wokingham

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

At around 1.40am on Sunday 28 April, a 51-year-old man was at the youth centre on Reading Road, Embrook when he was unexpectedly punched by an unknown offender to the back of the head. This caused him to fall to the ground and bang his head.

The victim suffered a lump and bleeding to the head which required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

Anyone with information can contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference ‘43190126758’ or make a report online.
