Community Priorities

Alert message sent 03/05/2019 19:23:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Firstly, thank you to those who attended the community forum on Tuesday evening in Wolverton. Your attendance at these events is greatly appreciated.

The community priorities from the forum in January and updates from these are as follows:
1. Theft from Motor Vehicles – this is going to roll over as a continual priority, there was a crime prevention day scheduled for April however was not actioned due to sickness. This has been rescheduled for May. Police patrols still continue by the local Neighbourhood Police team.
2. Speeding along Wolverton Road, Silver Street and London Road – Speeding checks not conducted along Silver Street due to the layout of the road which prevents speeding checks being completed safely. PCSOs completed speeding checks along Wolverton Road and London Road.

3. Criminal damage to Fullers Slade bus shelter – Police patrols have continued with no further incidents since the initial report.

In the forum, a range of issues were discussed and each attendee was given the opportunity to voice their concerns. After the discussion, the 3 community priorities for the next 3 months are as follows:
1. Stony Stratford - ASB and unlawful encampments in Mortimer Park
2. Fullers Slade - ASB and arson in the new Spider Park
3. Stony Stratford - speeding and theft from vehicle rolling over from the last forum.

Once again, thank you to those who attended the forum. The next forum will be held in July 2019, date TBA. If you have any concerns at all, please do not hesitate to contact us at
