Appeal for witnesses following burglaries in Binfield

Alert message sent 11/04/2019 16:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following recent burglaries in the Binfield area.
At about 2.40am on Wednesday 10 April offenders attacked a detached premises located on a rural lane just north of the village centre. Entry was forced to a detached garage with in the properties gated grounds, and a green coloured agricultural Kawasaki KLF300 Quad Bike that had been secured with padlock and chain, was stolen.  Crime Ref 43190108143 refers.

40 minutes later at 3.20am offenders attacked another detached premises located on a rural lane out towards the bridge over the M4 leading  to Shurlock Row. Again entry was forced through entrance gates and into a detached barn/ garage and this time a red Honda TRX250T Quad Bike was stolen. Crime Ref 43190108172 refers.

Domestic security CCTV suggests that at least 3 offenders were involved in both break ins. The offenders are believed to all be white males but descriptions are vague as they all concealed their identity by wearing hooded tops, it is believed that they were using a small car to travel to the properties (unfortunately no index known)  so it is possible that the stolen quad bikes had to be ridden away from the scenes.
If you happened to be up and about aaround the relevant times and saw quad bikes been ridden or believe you have any other information that will assist police with the investigation of theses offences you are asked to contact Thames Valley Police on 101 and quote the relevant crime ref number.

If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity “Crimestoppers” anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are asked for, and your call is not traced or recorded, and you wouldn’t be expected to attend court.
