Alert message sent 03/04/2019 09:50:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Buscot.

Between 3.30pm - 5pm on Monday (1/4) unknown offender(s) broke into a property on the Lechlade Road running through Buscot. When the occupant of the property went out at 3.30pm a male was stood on the driveway and asked for directions (so saw them leave and double lock the property). Entry was gained through a first floor side window which was smashed. A ladder would have been required. A messy search was conducted and jewellery was stolen.

It is believed that the male could have had a car parked on the A417 near the Buscot Church.

Did you see anything? Any people or vehicles acting suspiciously? Do you have CCTV that you could review?
