DEMENTIA TOUR BUS - an opportunity to learn

Alert message sent 12/03/2019 12:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Good Afternoon

On
Tuesday 19th March- The South Buckinghamshire Golf Club (https://www.thesouthbuckinghamshire.co.uk/) is hosting the Virtual Dementia Tour bus. This Course has many aims and raises awareness of how we (the community) can adapt our environments and way of working to support people living with dementia and their carers in our community.   This is a great opportunity to understand more about this disease and how you can support people in your role and normal walk of life.

This session offers a hands on experience that is thought provoking lasting for approximately two and a half hours. Refreshments (tea or Coffee ) will be served free of charge,  courtesy of the Golf Club.
At present availability is as follows:
 Session 2 12.15- 14.45   2 spaces

Session 3 15.00-17.15  1 space

Spaces will be given on a first come first served basis.  Please contact Hannah Tomlin
(
Hannah.Tomlin@chilternandsouthbucks.gov.uk ) if you have any queries or would like to attend by no later than 13th March.

Regards
David
