Appeal for witnesses following an assault in Witney

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Witney.
At around 5pm on Monday (14/1) the victim, a 66-year-old man, was jogging on Mill Street when he was assaulted by a group of teenage boys.

The victim received swelling to his lip and a cut to his knee. He did not require hospital treatment.

The teenage boy who assaulted the victim is described as white, aged between 16 to 18-years-old, 6ft tall with short brown hair. He was wearing a red jacket. 

Investigating officer, PC James Dyson, based at Witney police station said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident, or who has any information which they think could help our investigation, to get in touch.
