FIRST from CELIA re Apple products now vulnerable to SCAMS ??

Dear Jeff,

A warning:

Although this is unusual ( I have a Mac ), I have just received a scam email from a Mr Phala Heng in SE Asia  cc: “undisclosed recipients” about  " funds from a deceased client…….business proposal….risk free…..etc ...  etc."

Needless to say, I’ve deleted it!

I hope this does not mean that MACs are becoming more vulnerable.

Thanks for all your advice.

Celia

NEXT from KAREN an Email from NETFLIX:

It is addressed to Karen personally, but using her first and last name without a space. Between.

It says that she has been selected from thousands, to win a year’s free NETFLIX.

She needs to act quickly as there are only a few subscriptions left – ‘click on the LINK immediately to check if you have won’.

DON’T DO IT

NEXT – LESLEY has had one from Western Union.

Apparently Lesley AKA ‘Dear Email Beneficiary’ is one of 7 email beneficiaries approved to receive $1,500,000.00 out of the ongoing UN Humanitarian aid / Poverty Alleviation Program 2017.

Due to western Union Policy, they can only send this amount in units of $7,600.00 per day.

To start this procedure…..can they have Lesley’s full details, to organise the payments !!!!

DON’T DO IT

AND another one from LESLEY:

This time from PayPal they were sorry, they could not confirm billing details and suspended her account.  To reactivate it, she should FOLLOW THE LINK and re enter all personal details !!!!

DON’T DO IT
