Alert message sent 05/05/2017 14:03:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

This message is dated Friday 5th May 2017 for Maidenhead.

NEXT WEEK IS ‘ROGUE TRADERS WEEK’.

Sgt Andy Ward from the Maidenhead Neighbourhood Team, has organised two ‘Days of Action’.

On Monday 08 05 2017 PCSO Jason Miller will be in Waitrose 1.30 p.m. – 4 p.m. and on Wednesday 10 05 2017, PCSO Matt Wingrove will be in the Library 1.30 p.m. / 4 p.m.. They will be able to answer any questions you have re Rogue Traders / Doorstep Selling / Frauds / Scams and general Crime Prevention (re car crime / van breaks /shed breaks and burglaries).  They will have handouts for you to take a way.

We don’t undertake these ‘Days of Action’ lightly as they involve a great deal of valuable police time and resources, in the planning and execution.  If no-one attends………... If you are in either of those areas, please go up and make yourselves known to them.

They will have with them, some Consultation forms for you to complete.  To list your top 3, local police priorities.  We are no longer carrying out the old style Community Consultation Meetings, but consulting with residents, every time we interact and engage with them.

The RBWM Trading Standards Team has produced a new handout for next week, full of useful advice and contact which I have attached to this message.
